BMW.SG, SGMERC and SGTopless Meetups

The three communities of BMW.SG, SGMERC and SGTopless are three quite active online forums that gather every months for meetups. I have already been to a few of their meetups or events, such as BMW.SG and SGMERC's February meetups here and here , BMW.SG's Charity Night Drive in April here, followed by SGTopless' night drive here, and SGMERC's visit at STAR BLACK Service Centre here.

May's meetup had all three communities gathering at Kallang Leisure Park, and I believe by now you should already know quite a fair bit about those friendly car enthusiasts, so I will drop the keyboard and let the pictures do the talking.

Exclusive Preview: Facelifted Mercedes C-Class

On Wednesday 17th May, Hua Yang, a parallel importer of European Luxury cars, treated the SGMERC community with a special car preview at their showroom at Turf Club Road.

For the very first time in Singapore, the new face lifted Mercedes C-Class was exposed to the public. This new C-Class is more in tune with the recently launched new E and S Class, featuring new sleeker-looking headlights and an interior design that follows the two other models’ design.

This C-Class features the AMG Sports package that dresses the C-Class with an AMG body package consisting of more aggressive-looking front and rear bumper, side skirts, the new AMG five twin-spoke alloy rims and a sports suspension that lowers the car by 15mm.

The AMG theme carries on inside the C-Class with front sports seats, aluminum shifter and brushed stainless steel pedals for a nice motorsports feel.

The new C-Class is now available for orders and will be hitting the Singaporean roads by July 2011.
